Today on the blog is a recap of the past Fashion Happy Hour event in collaboration with Fashom at IronSide Pizza. First of all, I want to thank everyone who went to support me and the vendors. The event was a success itself and I was able to buy some goodies as well. For those of you who did not attend, the purpose of the event was to raise funds for Foodom (an organization that raises money to feed children in Africa). Many vendors and bloggers took part of these event by showcasing their favorite Spring and Summer trends. This was a great opportunity to unite the blogging community and fashion enthusiasts. One of my favorite vendors during this event were Mavy Savvy and Beauty For Real. It was a great evening of networking with other fellow bloggers and business ladies.
During this event I was able to talk about my favorite Spring and Summer trends. As you can preview in the picture below, I talked about my favorite trends for this season being the comeback of the 70’s look. I also showed a pair of culottes with black and white stripes. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture of it but you can preview this item at Rack to Closet’s Instagram account. I also love the statement necklaces from Mavy Savvy since it add a bohemian feeling to any outfit.
I really recommend this boutique and I am a big fan of buying from local vendors. Mavy Savvy has a collection of different styles from the chic to hippie, to formal and casual. I went crazy with her affordable prices and unique pieces. This is a great boutique for the financial savvy and ladies with a great fashion sense.
As for Beauty, Beauty For Real was my second favorite store. They have come with the great idea of uniting technology and beauty into one perfect beauty accessory. Their lipsticks have a mirror and light incorporated in case you want to apply makeup in the dark. So rad!
This vendor was also into my favorite’s list. Art to Wear Collection has unique and quality purses made out of canvas. The elaborated clutch can unfold and become into one great masterpiece. Holly A. Jones, the creator behind this brand also takes special orders and can personalize your clutch into your own personal art.
After the event, I was able to enjoy the restaurant IronSide Pizza. Their pizza is a “must try” and their salads are mouthwatering; by the way this restaurant is also Zagat approved.
