Hello Friends! I hope everyone had a fun Art Basel weekend. There were so many events and art happening around town that I was able to experience. One of the many art happenings took place in South Beach’s newest restaurant called Plethora & Balthazar. This hidden spot right next to Nikki Beach is filled with a great menu, staff and elegant scene. The newly opened restaurant in the Hilton Bentley offers access to the pool and beach, and great cabanas to sip your mimosas. I recently joined a group of bloggers to sample their vast menu and let me tell you is so good. The mini burgers were one of my favorites. I wanted to spend an entire day by the pool and restaurant to experience the tourist life. So, I packed my bags for the day and head to South Beach for a day-cation at P&B.
The first look is a fun and carefree romper from Coasta Berre. Purple and burgundy are autumnal colors and is an outfit that can easily transition into Spring season. The fringed bag offers that 70’s flair and adds a nice match to the romper. I am not into sandals and like the feel of height. Add a comfortable pair of wedges to add extra inches and you are ready for the pool party.
The second look is a laid-back but sophisticated dress from Coasta Berre. This boutique in Miami Lakes has a variety of dresses for the holidays. Neutrals are trending for 2016 and are a great color option for the warm and tropical weather in Miami. Pantone released “Rose Quartz” as the color of the year for 2016 which is in the same tone of the dress. What I like about this dress is that is adjusted on the top and flows on the bottom. The chiffon fabric offers that extra movement. As for the shoes, I found them on DSW. I was on the lookout for the Darron pumps for months without any luck. One day I stepped inside the DSW at Miracle Market Place and guess what? It was like heaven opened. I finally have found the BCBG shoes in my size. Eureka! The Darron pumps are inspired by the rockstud pumps from Valentino.
After enjoying a fabulous day at the beach, I decided to get ready for my date night. This look is easy to put together and requires little effort. You can add bold accessories to this dress but I enjoyed keeping my accessories neutral. I hope you enjoy the rest of the holidays and stay tuned for Friday’s post. Have a nice week!
