I am back in the MIA safe and sound. The snow is really beautiful but it can mess up your plans and leave you stranded in the airport for 14 hours of delay. However, is important to appreciate all the seasons because they bring changes in your life. Lately, I have been going through a lot of changes in my life and I am enjoying each season along the way. I want to share with you today one of my favorite cities I recently visited and my favorite pieces of clothing. I am currently craving white and pastels for this last month of Winter. So today I bring you a Winter style inspiration from my recent visit to Washington, DC. A great way to stay warm is having the perfect coat. Layering is a great option but your main source of warmth is the coat. I found this coat at a great discount price in a consignment boutique while strolling around U street in DC. Replace your black garments for more colorful tones like this rose quartz blouse and shoes. Do not wear heels during heavy snow, I repeat, do not wear them.
These pair of heels are the most comfortable shoes I own, but they are not snow approved. Cole Haan are definitely the most comfortable brand of shoes I’ve worn. This outfit is meant to be worn for a weather between 40-50 degrees. A good button up shirt can make you look classy instantly. Gap stores have a variety of selection in shirts and blouses. If you are pink obsessed like me, you can match it by wearing different shades of pink. Remember that a classic look never goes unnoticed and this is a great option for a casual happy hour around the city. Stay warm in fluffy coats and colorful tones my friends.
P.S.: Jen has been the most amazing photographer ever. I really recommend her if you ever visit DC.
