Denim + Leather + Fringes

Happy Leap Day! One of my favorite things about DC is the architecture and buildings surrounding the city. I loved the pillars, the big doors and colonial vibe of the district. I shot this outfit at the National Archives Museum on a snowy day. Jen was really helpful during the photoshoot and one of the best photographers I’ve worked with.  I enjoyed the city so much and one of my favorite areas to eat and party was U street. Lately, I’ve been leaving in pants and jeans. Do you own a favorite pair of jeans? I surely do. My new favorite pair is this new light wash denim from #celebritypinkjeans. When I received this pair of “Celebrity Pink” in the mail I was so excited to style it. The color fits perfectly with dark tones and adjust good to the body. Fringes and leather continue to be a “must have” for this season. Keep always something leather in your closet. It is easy to style and is versatile.

In honor of Leap Day I want to encourage you to take that leap of faith. Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or finished? Today and throughout this week take the chance to take the leap, make changes in your life and pursue your passions. The future is bright and God has everything in control. So don’t be afraid and just do it. Think positively about where you want to go in life.  Enjoy your extra Monday of the year!

DC is one of my favorite cities too and I haven’t been in a long time. As a Florida girl, I’d be wearing a hell of a lot more than you are if there’s snow on the ground! LOL!

Yes I agree! I was wearing thermals underneath for the photoshoot. This outfit is good for 50 degrees. 🙂 I hope you get a chance to go back. I loved the food there too 🙂 #yummy
