Last month, Miami Swim Week took the streets of South Beach with models, celebrities, social media influencers and designers from all over the world. With so many shows and private events to attend we had to downsize our calendar schedule. This year, swimwear designers and the Coast Shows presented the ultimate collection for 2017. Mia Marcelle was one of my favorite presentations where they featured their beautiful nautical looks with a cocktail party.
One of my favorite shows was Maaji Swimwear. They executed a fun performance with flamingos, balloons, and sexy skaters. The off the shoulder trend continues in their swimwear line. Also, how cute are their beach towels? Maaji transported the audience to a tropical paradise during their Sunny Dream Inn themed show.

During Saturday, I got this amazing hair braided look by Blo Bar Aventura in the Escape Miami event. After, we headed to the SurfMag pool party to relax with some cocktails under the sun while shooting with Cat. Thanks to Peroni for their mobile fan souvenirs. Without it, I would’ve melted in the 90 degrees weather.
My ride or die blogger and friend Laura from The Fashion Diva looking elegant with a kimono style dress. I am wearing my favorite romper from Kiki Boutique and sandals from Dolce Vita.
After a quick break at the Nautilus Hotel in South Beach it was time to head to the other shows and preview the collection.
Kaohs Swimwear and Hammock show say yes to the one piece. These one pieces are elegant and adjust well to the body, making a beautiful silhouette. Look for swimsuits with a V cut or detailed cuts on the sides.
The high waist bottom was in all runways this year. It’s elegant, sexy and hides the belly.
Long sleeve cover-ups made a statement during the runway shows as well.
Until next year Miami Swim Week!
