The Fashion Buffet finally turns two and with Summer almost over a Tropical Soirée was the right way to celebrate. Last two weeks I hosted a small blogiversary event with a Tropical theme for my closest readers and followers. After two years of hustling, content creation, event networking, fashion styling and everything blogging related, it was time to take a break and have a celebration. Running this blog as the content editor, has provided me with amazing opportunities. I am so grateful for all of you who stop by every week and read the articles. Thank you to those who celebrated this milestone with me. I can’t wait to release what’s in store for year three of The Fashion Buffet. New projects are in the works, and with my favorite season just around the corner, the blog will be full of fall vibes and fashion inspiration.
As a true islander, I wanted to showcase a tropical vibe to the event and what is really like to live in Miami. Thanks to the Colombian sister duo Tinseldot, my event was transformed into a Hawaii/Miami vibe with its tropical leaves and elegant decoration designed by Catalina and Juliana. Tinseldot has been a great support to my website and showed their true love and passion into styling the event. Of course, we could not miss the flamingo float because, we all in it to flamingle.
A special thanks to My Ceviche for sponsoring and providing that tropical taste to my event. Guests were offered mini samplers of My Ceviche with delicious sweets from Mother Fudgers. This sweets were created by Greg Pugh and he added the tropical vibe with a key lime fudge. For more info on these gourmet concoctions you can contact him at: 786.229.9282
Of course, there is not a real blogiversary without a cake. I ordered this fabulous celebration cake from Sweet Guilt by Angelica. The coconut flavored vegan cake added the tropical spice to my event.
A special thanks to Kiki from Kiki boutique for providing her space and warm welcome to all my guests. She offers cosmo-chic and elegant style to the every day Miami gal. Make sure to check her store located in 88 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. She will make you feel at home.
