#NYFW Look 1

Coat: Please Don’t Tell Shop // Shoes: Raye The Label // Shorts: Kiki on The Mile // Blouse: Kiki on the Mile

Unmemorable is the word to define my first New York Fashion Week experience. I enjoyed seeing all the creative outfits roaming the city of New York and outside the Skylight Clarkson Center. For my first ever #NYFW, I decided to go with a sexy and fiery look. My last day preparing for my trip, I found this beautiful faux fur coat at a trip to Wynwood Arcade. I never thought I would have found this amazing coat in 70 degrees Miami weather. It was fierce, colorful and stylish. I had to get it. It was the “it” coat to have during winter in NYC. It is incredible how one item can transform the mood of your entire outfit. I decided to wear it head-to-toe black.

Even though it was a breezy morning around the city, I decided to rock the outfit no matter what. Leather and fur go well together and is a pattern that would never go out of style. As opposed to other patterns, a fur coat is a statement piece that will go well with many outfits years to come. Even the Brooklyn alleys made my coat feel powerful. This outfit is perfect if you’re heading to an after party and keeps it elegant and put together with the black ankle boots.
