Black Dresses and Why You Should Never Quit Them

There I was, inside a hidden Wynwood boutique trying on the perfect little black dress. Once I stepped out of the dressing room, my boyfriend opened his eyes and with his kind tone of voice he murmured “You look amazing!” That was exactly the moment I thought “I need this dress.” A dress can make you or break you, but a “little black dress” will always fix the problem.

Since its creation, the iconic “LBD” has solved many wardrobe issues. In 1926, Coco Chanel came up with a solution that would last for years. The LBD is simple, classic, elegant, iconic, trendy, and timeless. I can’t live without it.  The little black dress was born to last. The best characteristic of the LBD is that is versatile. You can wear it to a funeral, a first date, college graduation, business meeting, and the possibilities are endless.

One of my favorite style inspirations is Audrey Hepburn. She knew how to style a little black dress by using the right accessories. The trick is to accessorize right. Whether you own it or not, a little black dress will always save the day.
