This past Saturday, Frankie’s Bikinis presented their 2018 collection in a runway show inspired by 90’s culture. The show featured 1990s inspired designs. The models donned acrylic boots, dutch braids, pink faux fur sandals, and my favorite, one piece bathing suits. Frankie’s Bikinis is known by their one piece embroidered bathing suits, and their new collection continues to embrace the trend. Next season expect cheeky bottoms, bay-watch inspired silhouettes, floral prints and crop tops.
Frankie’s Bikinis is a boho-chic inspired swimwear brand based in LA. Francesca Aiello, the founder, is one of the youngest in the industry and most successful. Her designs are worn by celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and Ireland Baldwin. Francesca uses the softest fabrics to create the durable bikinis.
The models led the runway with hip hop music, showing the tiny designs in a youthful and feminine way. They walked the runway with mp3 players, pom pom earrings, chunky mobile phones and fluffy heels. If you ever grew up in the 90s you probably know that pink, teddy bear backpacks and Britney Spear were the cool things. This is an era to remember and bring tribute to in the best bikini version ever. You can find the latest Frankie’s Bikinis collection at bikiniluxe.com
