Ever wonder what to wear on a typical fall day in the Caribbean? Hats, flats and ruffle tops. If your holiday plans gear toward the islands, I suggest you start packing darker and bold tones of clothing with a hint of colorful accessories. The weather during fall season in Santo Domingo is between 75-85 degrees including rainy days. This provides a seamless transition from summer to fall.
The Old City of Santo Domingo is the perfect place to spend the holidays. People are friendly, you get pastel-painted boutiques everywhere and good hot chocolate. Many boutiques offer the cutest trends and handmade accessory designs. Fall is full of ruffles. This ruffle black top from Kiki on the Mile is my go-to-style for this season and it will be on repeat until next year. I can’t wait to go back to my country and welcome 2018 in style.
