How to transition your summer wardrobe into fall

It is cold for most people during the holiday season but for us Miamians it continues to be sunny, warm and shiny at the 305. We still love a good fall outfit and there is a challenge when beating the humidity. The best way to layer during fall in a tropical environment is with lace and a dress. I like outfits with a challenge because that is when creativity comes into place.

Denim continues to be on trend and lace is one of my favorite fabrics. The best way to style a strappy dress is with a long sleeve top underneath. I chose lace as this fabric has some ventilation and adds elegance.

Mix fabrics to transform a dull look into a chic ensemble. This top has a combination of lace and sheer fabric with ruffles – three things trending this season. The major trending piece is the white boots. Style it with black, red or any colorful outfit. It brightens the outfit and centers the attention on the dress. If you can’t stay away from the black hues, choose a pair of shoes or accessory that is colorful. After all, this holiday season is all about being colorful and merry.
